“When you’re locked up in here for life, you learn to welcome the little freedoms.”― Alexander Gordon Smith
Welcome… to my worId of striving for learning and seeking freedoms from the intricacy of being alive in this world.
I define myself as sociologist, body oriented therapist, movement facilitator, interdisciplinary artist and dancer researcher.
Being trained in Trauma Healing, Contemporary Dance (PhD), Sociology (MA, BA), Psychology, Intermodel Expressive Art Therapy, Body Therapies, and Meditation, I work in the fields of health, education, culture and arts.
Invested in building safe, inclusive, and collaborative creative environments I also give workshops, hold trainings and conferences, and facilitate group therapy sessions around the world beside the private individual sessions I offer at my studios in Miribel-Lyon or Galata-Istanbul or as online sessions.
The prospect of all my work is to mediate people to relate to their own self and accompany them in their physical, mental, and emotional processes towards wellbeing.
My eclectic formation allows me to be creative in adjusting to the personal needs and individual capacities of my clients and students. The methods I have learned and the experiences I have accumulated in years ground my work in holding space for the creative potential and the life force of each individual to unfold.
Each and every day, I am in awe with the capacity of every body and it brings me tremendous joy to accompany the embodiment journeys of the people I work with. For me each encounter is a dance on the transitive line between art and life –towards building resilience and capacity to contain polarities in our being!
“We should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once.” ― Friedrich Nietzsche
